Incarcerated Baton Rouge rapper Lil Boosie continues to bolster his 'Bad Azz' rep by piling on charge after charge, while awaiting trial on an initial first-degree murder charge in an Louisiana prison.
The rapper, born Torrence Hatch, has been charged, along with two other inmates, for attempting to smuggle codeine syrup -- a Southern rap staple -- into the Louisiana State Penitentiary at Angola, where Boosie is currently housed, according to local CBS news affiliate WAFB 9.
On Thursday (July 14), Lil Boosie was indicted in a second instance of attempting to smuggle drugs into Louisiana State Penitentiary at Angola.
According to The Advocate, Boosie was charged with one count of criminal conspiracy to take contraband to and from a penal institution, and another count of inciting a felony. Each count comes with two more years behind bars if convicted.
