What a weekend for the NBA.

LeBron James was privy to some shocking news on Saturday night as Anthony Davis was traded from the Los Angeles Lakers to the Dallas Mavericks. What's more shocking is that the Lakers got back Luka Doncic. Overall, this is one of the biggest and most stunning trades in NBA history. No one could have predicted this would happen. However, LeBron and Luka now get to finally team up after years of mutual admiration. No one knows if this will work, but it is going to be a whole lot of fun.

After the trade, there was a ton of speculation about whether or not LeBron and AD are on bad terms? After all, why would the Lakers make this kind of trade? The Lakers could win this year with LeBron and Davis on the roster. They did it in 2020 and they could do it again. However, the team decided to move on and make a trade that will help them in the future. Simply put, Luka is now destined to become the Lakers' next great superstar. As for LeBron, he couldn't help but think about his wife Savannah last night.

LeBron James and Savannah Are Still Going Strong

The legendary NBA superstar took to Instagram where he posted some images of himself and his longtime partner. "The thing about it is, is that we just grew even stronger and tighter together!! [queen & king]. This shit can’t be fucked with! Love you my Queen! Ruler of the Kingdom," he wrote in the caption.

Needless to say, LeBron was feeling a bit sentimental after this move. Perhaps he is even questioning whether or not he will be the next one to be traded. There has been all sorts of speculation that the Lakers are ready to move on from the LeBron era and build for their future. Whether or not that is true, still remains to be seen.
