With Wale's 5th studio album SHiNE expected to arrive later this year, the DC rapper has released a collection of songs released in advance of the project called Before I SHiNE. While Wale fans will already be familiar with the majority of the material, the "You Got It Freestyle" contains a brand new verse from Folarin. The live-drum feel of the beat brings out the best of Wale, who comes through with clever wordplay and a catchy hook.
