Lucki has been developing his psychedelic, meditative offshoot of Chicago drill over the last few years, and he sounds more comfortable than ever within it. He's now released "Options," a track that reminds how his free-flowing style of rap has proved influential in the age of SoundCloud, with quite a few rappers now adopting the "Aye"-punctuated flow he, along with some Chicago peers has been doing for a while now.
He's been steadily releasing new music on SC over the last year, including his FREEWAVE II EP released over the summer. Prior to that, he dropped the X mixtape, which featured a lot of self-production and a feature from none other than Chance The Rapper.
