Mod Da God claims to be bringing the "new sound" out of Mount Vernon, New York. His new track, mixtape "Level Up," comes off his mixtape Still Who I Think I Am which dropped last month. The track keeps elements of Mod's city intact, as well as embracing the sounds of other regions, culminating in a piano-led beat bolstered by some powerful sub-bass. Mod puts together a sticky hook as well as some memorable verses, proving that he has a songwriting sense some of his NY peers lack.
