Moziz Haywood is only 17 years old, but his music is already ambitious as it gets. The new record from the Compton, California rapper definitely feels like a post-Kendrick record, but it's not entirely indebted to its influences, and frankly, if you're going to study someone, K-Dot's not a bad choice. While the feel of the record, complete with an extensive opening skit, is reminiscent of the TDE aesthetic, Moziz's vocal style is all his, demonstrating a clear technical skill, natural style, and admirable control of his voice.
