X (pronounced "Ten") is a rapper and producer out of Baltimore, Maryland. On his new track "Time Machine," he reminisces on days of hip-hop past, but he's never too indebted to the eras he pays tribute too. The beat plays with what sounds like a smooth jazz vocal sample, giving it a bit of a trip-hop feel. Meanwhile, X keeps his flow pretty restrained laying into each word with force rather than agility.
