Philadelphia rapper M Geez isn't the only rapper channelling 90s boom bap in 2015, but his music does possess something many of his peers' music doesn't -- personality. Many younger rappers gravitate toward the "golden age" of hip-hop, but in their own recreation, they bring back the feel of the era, without the soul. Geez' has a confident and unique voice, giving his music less of a tribute-like sound, instead choosing to push things forward. His debut mixtape, Do As I Feel, is out soon.
