Don't call it a hiatus, as the Texas emcee has been hard at work on his Emotional Rollercoaster X30 mixtape, from which he's shared the first single today.
"Dedicated" is a strong return, with Essay getting things started with a huge hook over a timeless sample-based instrumental that bangs as hard as anything coming out of Atlanta these days. Meanwhile his verses feature a classic Texan swagger, sporting the everyman relatability of a young Z-Ro. Look out for the tape very soon.
