Trinidad James keeps hyping his new EP, Father Figga, this time with a brand-new music video for the track "WayMo." An animated piece with some retro-style drawing technique, this is a set of visuals that will certainly appeal to Trinidad James' target demographic.
The lyrics, in typical James fashion, are full of swagger and a complete and utter disregard for those who won't stay out of his way while, as he puts it, he lives "on the edge." A great deal of the words themselves appear beside James in the tradition of something like Kanye West's "Good Life," drawing a through line when it comes to confidence and stylistic flourishes.
