Joe Budden's "I Wanna Know" comes off his new album Rage & The Machine, sampling "Wish That You Were Mine" by The Manhattans. Over the warm chipmunk soul of the loop, Budden takes the opportunity to look back at himself, reflecting on his past in some very personal verses. He illustrates the nostalgic feel of the record as he films the video in a dark room, as we see old pictures of the rapper slowly develop as he takes a trip down memory lane.
