Of all the songs that have been released in the last year that attempt to tackle the seemingly endless issue of racist, violent police, Run The Jewels' "Early" is probably the best (honorable mention goes to Raury's "Fly" though). Taking an intensely personal approach, Killer Mike details being arrested in front of his wife and son, and although it doesn't really attempt to summarize the entire issue, this snapshot says more than most.
