The song will premiere alongside Elba's upcoming film "Bastille Day."

Idris Elba's musical career is looking pretty good these days. In the past year he delivered a devastating salvo of bars on Skepta's "Shutdown" remix and provided narration on Macklemore & Ryan Lewis’ “Dance Off.” Next up, his biggest song ever: a collaboration with legendary electronic producer/DJ Fatboy Slim.

Fatboy Slim told NME that the song will be released alongside Elba's upcoming film "Bastille Day."

“I don’t know if it’s under wraps so I don’t want to get in trouble by saying too much,” he said. “It’s called 'Bastille Day,' and we’ve written a song together, and Idris sings on it which is fun.”

"Bastille Day" stars Elba as a CIA agent attempting to hunt down the culprit after a bomb attack in Paris. The trailer looks pretty lit. Given Fatboy Slim's track record, the song should be lit as well.
