Angie Martinez is continuing to give us some Untold Stories of Hip Hop, and the latest bit comes from Maino. The veteran radio host launched a show with We TV where she sat down with some of our favorite hip hop artists and spoke with them about bits and pieces of their careers that the public may not be aware of. In the series, some stories were serious, others heartwarming, and many were educational. Recently, Angela Yee and Angie Matinez were joined by rapper Maino who gave us a brief chuckle-worthy tale of a time when he allowed an edible to get the best of him.

According to Angela Yee, Maino hit her up and asked if she had any edibles. "Basically, this was a Friday night," Maino said. "I get in my car. I'm on my way to the studio. I eat half. I said, 'I don't feel nothing.' So, I cracked it open again, I ate another half. I get to the studio. I still don't feel nothing, so I ate another half. And then it came over me."

Angela and Angie Martinez couldn't help but laugh. "I was so in the clouds," said Maino. Angie told him those edibles take time to kick in. He added, "I stopped remembering what I was saying. I couldn't stop laughing. I went to see Raekwon and he just was like, "Yo, bro. Are you alright?... Let me tell you. I was like that 'til Monday. I'm like, scarred behind that." Watch Maino's high-larious story about his three-day-long edibles high below.
