The deluxe edition of Trey Songz' 2014 triumph, Trigga, was due to be released this week, and while it suffered a pushback, we got something that could be even better in its place. Intermission features 5 new songs (and an intro), which pick up right where Trey's last LP left off.
"Don't Play" is one of the project's highlights, featuring an ambient piano sample spun over a buzzing bass line, capturing a similarly cold landscape to that created on Drake's recent phenomenon, "Know Yourself". The actual deluxe edition is set for a June release, so expect some more new music on there as well.
Quotable Lyrics:
She just wanna fuck with a boss
So I took her on a cruise 'round the city
It don't really matter what it cost
'Cause she know a young nigga gon' get it
