On Tuesday (May 5), Adele celebrated turning 32-years-old and received a swarm of messages from friends and fans. She decided to thank everyone by sharing a photo of herself with a touching message of gratitude, but people were more interested in her new look than they were with her Instagram caption.
"Thank you for the birthday love. I hope you’re all staying safe and sane during this crazy time," Adele penned alongside a full-body photo of herself. She then shifted the attention away from herself and decided to share the spotlight with those who have been tirelessly working throughout this COVID-19 quarantine. "I’d like to thank all of our first responders and essential workers who are keeping us safe while risking their lives! You are truly our angels ♥️ 2020 okay bye thanks x."
