Elon Musk, Grimes
Elon Musk & Grimes are reportedly proud parents after the tech mogul shared that their baby has arrived.

There is good news for Elon Musk and Grimes amid this global pandemic: The couple has welcomed their first child together on Monday (May 4). This makes for Grimes's first child and Elon's sixth, as he shares five sons with his ex-wife. While the 48-year-old had a bit of a rough weekend after his tweetstorm last week negatively impacted his businesses, he kept things brief when announcing the good news about Baby Musk to the world.

"A few hours away!" Musk told a fan who asked about the arrival of his newborn. Later he added, "Mom & baby all good." Grimes, 32, previously spoke about the plans that she and Musk had for their little one. "I don't want to say what it is because everyone I've told it hates it, and everyone's gonna make fun of it," said Grimes of her child's name back in February. "But it is, in fact, a genius name and people just don't appreciate it yet because it's too avant-garde." The baby's name? "X Æ A-12 Musk," Elon told a Twitter user.

While Grimes previously stated that she didn't want to reveal the baby's gender, Elon shared that they had a boy. "I don't think they can consent to being famous or being in public," Grimes said months ago of her baby. "And I don't want to gender them in case that's not how they feel in their life. I don't know, I just feel like it doesn't need to be known." Congrats to the couple on their new arrival.
