August Alsina returns with his single "Work To Do" from his Friday (June 26) release, "The Product III: stateofEMERGEncy."

After a brief hiatus to take care of health concerns, August Alsina is returning to the music scene with a brand new project. The singer recently announced that his forthcoming album The Product III: stateofEMERGEncy will arrive this Friday (June 26), and to say that fans are excited is an understatement. August Alsina has shared bits of his recovery over the past year after falling ill due to the autoimmune disease that left him hospitalized. He always remained positive and in good spirits, and continued to motivate others, even when he wasn't feeling physically well.

This week, August will be counting down to the release of The Product III: stateofEMERGEncy by dropping a new song daily. At the stroke of midnight, he dropped "Work To Do," a song that seems to suggest that the singer isn't looking for fly-by-night folks in his life, but desires someone who will put in work for the long haul. Stream "Work To Do" by August Alsina and let us know what you think of this one.

Quotable Lyrics

When I get lost, will you come find me?
Love it when it's possible
You know I ride for you, if you ride for me
I ain't perfect but I'm worth it, baby vibe with me
I need someone to believe in
