ZMoney was off to a great start about a year back, building hype off of a sound that paired minimal futuristic production with Gucci Mane-esque mumbled delivery. It seemed he may be the next rapper out of Chicago to blow up, but he was given a jail sentence at the peak of his popularity.
Things have been understandably quiet since then, but with news that the rapper will be a free man next month, he's released a full brand new project called The Green Dot. "Public" is a highlight from the tape, and features a guest appearance from one of the scene's vet, King Louie, an important co-sign, and a good sign for things to come.
