Lloyd announced his new album by releasing his Teddy-Rily-assisted single "Slow Wine Bass Line."

It's been a while since we've received a project from Lloyd and the R&B singer returned on Tuesday (May 19) to share that he's been working hard in the studio. Lloyd made a splash with hits like "BedRock" with Young Money, "Get It Shawty," "You," and "Southside," but for almost two years, the singer has been relatively quiet. Fans can expect a new album from Lloyd sometime soon, but in the meantime, they can enjoy his new single "Slow Wine Bass Line" featuring Teddy Riley.

With an iconic producer-entertainer like Teddy Riley by your side, you know that your single is going to be a banger. Lloyd slows things all the way down for this baby-making track where he sings about anticipating a passionate night with the object of his affection. "If music is what dreams are made of, I’d like to thank the almighty for yet again helping me make one of mine come true this day," he wrote on Instagram. "I’d like to personally thank the great @teddyriley1, @keithsweat, @rxdcxm, and @biglovejasper as I humbly present my first release from a soon to be announced new album." Stream "Slow Wine Bass Line" and let us known what you think.

Quotable Lyrics

Anytime you need it, it's yours
We had a good night but the DJ plays his last cards
Oh, you got somethin' worth waitin' for (Waitin' for)
And I been fantasizin' but now you are
Windin' next to me
