E-40 recently announced that he's be dropping his "The Curb Commentator" series, and he kicks things off with "Channel 1."

The Bay Area is sweeping through your Friday (May 8). Not only has Kehlani delivered her anticipated It Was Good Until It Wasn't studio album, E-40 dropped off his five-track EP The Curb Commentator Channel 1. We've recently heard E-40 come forward to speak out against the treatment of inmates during the COVID-19 pandemic, and while he's working toward prison reform, the rapper has also been working on new music

Back in March, E-40 shared that The Curb Commentator would be a series of releases that dropped every two months. In an Instagram post, the rapper revealed the dates for the entire collection, but we may be a tad off due to the setbacks by the COVID-19 pandemic. Initially, E-40 shared that Channel 1 was to arrive on April 17, Channel 2 on June 19, Channel 3 on August 14, and Channel 4 on October 16. We'll keep you updated when we receive more information on E-40's schedule, but for now, give The Curb Commentator Channel 1—an album that features looks from Wiz Khalifa, Suga Free, B-Legit, and K Camp—a listen and let us know what you think.
