This was the first time Will has performed at Coachella.

The second week of Coachella is underway, and to kick things off with a bang, Will Smith surprised fans with a performance. His son Jaden took to the festival stage to perform once again, but this time, he used the last 10 minutes of his set to share the stage with his music legend father.

The father-son duo performed "Icon," and Will continued the support of his middle child by wearing an "Erys Is Coming" shirt. The words are the title of Jaden's recently released EP, a three-track teaser to what is said to be his forthcoming full-length record, Erys.

Unbelievably, this momentous occasion marks Will's desert festival debut. "This is my first time ever on a Coachella stage and I love y'all," Will Smith said. When the duet was over, Jaden thanked the Coachella audience and the pair left the stage together. During Jaden's performance last week, it was Jaden and his sister Willow who closed out his performance.

This time around Willow once again opened for her brother while performing hooked to high-wires and acted as Jaden's hype man throughout. Too bad the audience couldn't get a Fresh Prince cover with the family, but it's still good to see Will with a mic in his hand.
