The beast has been unleashed and new music is flowing in! When ScHoolboy Q learned that his good friend Mac Miller passed away, the rapper took some time to step back, reflect, and mourn Miller's death. Fans were impatiently waiting for Q to drop a new record, a follow-up to the rapper's 2016 hit, Black Face LP. " "With my n***a gone right now, I just don't feel right putting out an album," he said at a concert in September 2018. "As y'all can tell, I'm not my real self right now. I shouldn't even be here right now."

Less than a week ago Q proved that he's ready to take the game by storm, releasing the single "Numb Numb Juice" and later the accompanying music video. His forthcoming album has a slated 2019 release, however, we don't yet know the official title of the anticipated record. Earlier this week Q told fans to make sure they tuned in to The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon as he would be the special musical guest, and while many thought that Q was just going to take to the Tonight Show stage to perform his latest single, the rapper debuted his new song, "Chopstix."

The rapper hasn't been on the sidelines waiting his turn. Just because he hasn't released new music in a while doesn't mean he hasn't been grinding. "There’s no dead time. You always in the studio; and I’m a full-time dad too, so I’m sharing my daughter with her mom and taking care of my daughter," Q told Noisey. "I don’t really have days off: I have to be a dad, I have to be a rapper. I just live life like a normal person, like a man raising a kid. It’s school, then home, and that’s pretty easy, rap, then golf. That’s my whole life now. I don’t go to parties, I don’t like doing none of that stuff. I’m not a club-goer. I just like to do me, raise my kid, and play golf.
