The shooter was first named last year, but documents reveal more about his case.

The criminal case involving Tekashi 6ix9ine has been revealing more about the individuals involved as time rolls on, and now documents have reportedly revealed the name of the shooter authorities believe is responsible for the incident that occurred at Barclays one year ago. In April 2018, Tekashi's crew and Casanova's crew go into a scuffle during Adrien Broner's fight at the venue, a brawl that ended in gunfire. Since that time, 6ix9ine has been banned from Barclays, and while it was thought that the actual shooter would never be convicted, officials believe it is clear that their initial suspect an associate of 6ix9ine's named Fuguan "Fubanger" Lovick, is their man.

Of the five individuals who have already pleaded guilty in the racketeering case 6ix9ine is involved in, there are another six who have yet to file a plea, and Lovick is one of the half dozen. According to documents obtained by Vibe, authorities claim that they have footage that shows Lovick at Barclays with a gun. "In addition to the surveillance video, which shows the defendant discharging a firearm inside the Barclays Center, cooperating witnesses will testify about the defendant’s role in Nine Trey, in particular as a shooter for the gang who almost always carried a firearm," the legal documents say.

Last month Lovick attempted to have the charges against him dismissed claiming that the traffic stop which ended in the discovery of a firearm was illegal, but authorities have filed a motion defending their search and seizure. Lovick was first named and arrested for the Barclay's incident back in May 2018, but these new documents have detailed the evidence against him. Now that police have "cooperating witnesses," investigators believe that have enough for a conviction.
