Tiger Woods and his girlfriend Erica Herman are at the center of a lawsuit after a family contends that they are responsible for the death of Nicholas Immesberger. The 24-year-old worked as a bartender at Woods and Herman's Florida restaurant The Woods, and according to his family, he was overserved alcohol following working a shift at the establishment.

On December 10, Immesberger reportedly finished working at 3:00 p.m. and then sat at the bar drinking for three hours. He then attempted to drive his Corvette home but was involved in a single-car accident. A police report states he was traveling at 70 mph in a 55 mph zone with a blood alcohol level of .256, three times the legal limit.

According to the lawsuit, Immesberger's family states that The Woods' employees knew the bartender was involved in an alcohol-related accident a month prior and attended Alcoholic Anonymous meetings. It also says that workers, including management, encouraged their employees to drink alcohol. The family is seeking damages, however, the financial amount has not been made public. It's reported that they will address the media on Tuesday.

Woods recently won The Masters and is currently competing in the 2019 PGA Tournament. To celebrate his Masters victory, President Trump honored the champion golfer with the Presidential Medal of Freedom during a ceremony at the White House.
