It's been eight years since Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon bought "Dem Babies" into the world and the loving parents celebrated their twins' birthdays in style. On Wednesday Carey shared a photo of herself in the hospital with her little ones Morrocan and Monroe Cannon, affectionately known as Roc and Roe. "8 years of bliss 😍 Happy Birthday #DemKids," she wrote.

Cannon commented on the photo by saying, "Can a brotha at least get some photo credit!!! LOL Thanks for the most amazing gifts ever!!!" while Carey's boyfriend Bryan Tanaka wrote, "Happy Birthday to the coolest kids I know!!!"

The former couple hosted a massive party for their twins that included laser tag, trampolines, and individual birthday cakes—and according to Cannon, Roe DJ'ed the shindig. "Happy birthday Roc and Roe!!!," Carey said in another Instagram post. "You are my everything 💕💕💕 and even though you're turning 8 today (how did that happen???) You'll always be #dembabies 😍 thank you for showing me the true meaning of love."

Cannon took his followers on a walk down birthday memory lane and he shared a series of photos from his kid's past celebrations. "That one time I shut down All of Disneyland for my kids!!! 2nd Birthday!! #6yearsAgo Happy 8th Birthday Roc & Roe!!," he recalled. As toddlers, they were gifted with kid-sized cars, but apparently last year they asked for an upgrade. "Then it was that year they wanted matching real cars! 🤦🏾‍♂️ But hey, ask and you shall receive 🙌🏾 Happy Birthday Day!" Cannon said.
