Does this mean the record is finally on its way?

There has been hype surrounding the release of Rick Ross' Port of Miami 2 album for years. DJ Khaled teased that the record was "coming" back in March 2018 and by August, Rozay himself let the world know that they should expect new music from him sooner than later. "12 yrs ago today I released my debut album ‘Port of Miami’..today I’m putting final touches on ‘Port of Miami 2’ which will be coming soon!" he wrote on Instagram.

Yet, fans are still awaiting the rapper's forthcoming album or at least a date for its release. However, earlier today Ross and crew dropped the Port of Miami 2 Freestyle, a straightforward, minute and a half presentation that's meant to give us all a taste of what's to come. The style is signature Ross with his hoarse delivery and lyrical prowess. This latest offering suggests that P.O.M. II may be hitting the streets before we know it, so check out the freestyle and let us know what you think.

Quotable Lyrics

Talkin’ all white like the pope
Type of money bring Bill Cosby back
A different world nothin' for my college cats
I respect you n*ggas buildin’ all the apps
But it’s time we raise the ceilings in the traps
