The eighth season premieres on VH1 on March 25.

Whew, chile...the upcoming season of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta is about to be one for the books! VH1 recently released the trailer for the eighth season of the ATL series, and by the looks of things, Mona Scott Young is intensifying the drama. The teaser opens up with headlines featuring the show's stars, including Stevie J and Faith Evans tying the knot, Mimi Faust being shot at during a home invasion, and Scrapp Deleon being released from prison.

What fans have really been looking forward to is rapper Rasheeda Frost mending her marriage to Kirk after he had a baby with his mistress, exotic dancer Jasmine Washington. Last season we saw the couple's marriage disintegrate, but now that they've chosen to work things out, Rasheeda attempts to meet and form a relationship with her husband's son. Karlie Redd, who's paraded a string of relationships on the show, is finally getting the wedding of her dreams, but she also wants to have children with husband-to-be Maurice “Mo” Fayne. Meanwhile, Mimi and Faith come face-to-face for a sit-down chit-chat following Faith's surprise wedding to Mimi's ex.

Last year, Jamaican dancehall rapper Spice stunned social media when she posted a photo of herself with lighter skin, making herself look as though she was a white person. At the time, many reported the photo to be a stunt or a promotion to help sell her music. In the trailer, they hint to Spice's storyline centering on her wanting to permanently lighten her skin in order to create new opportunities in the entertainment industry.

VH1 is selling this season as the truth behind the headlines, so take a peek at what's to come and let us know if you'll be tuning in on March 25.
