Even though he looks the part of an entertainer working a Quinceañera, Marshmello is slowly building a rep within the hip-hop community. Just as the buzz over his unpublished work with Chris Brown and Tyga is growing by the day, he pulls out the odd combination we never deemed possible: Marsh the EDM mascot with a keen hip-hop sensibility meets SOB X RBE, hungry to capitalize on a strong 2018.
On the Roll The Dice EP, the existing members of the SOB X RBE pick up where they left off on GANGIN II and some. Before completing the project from within his septic bubble, Marshmello garnered himself a coveted 2-year residency at KAOS in Las Vegas, where the hope is that "dayclubbing" becomes a normal way of life.
On the part of SOB X RBE, the EP is a nice little reminder to Coachella attendees who would have otherwise overlooked their name on the lineup. Don't you dare, SOB X RBE deserves the nod, as does Marshmello who did the same in 2017. Coachella 2019 is full of tie-breaker decisions, so plan accordingly if you're making the trip.
