The two vocalists deliver a solid, yet short, project.

American Idol alum Jordin Sparks has taken a break from releasing new music. Fans haven't had an official record from the singer in nearly four years, and now she's back with her joint project with Elijah Blake. The two R&b artists recently released a single titled "Real Love," and following that up, the pair dropped their EP 1990s Forever. 

"Real Love" doesn't appear on the newly released project, but the titled of the effort is perfect for the product delivered. They two voices are effortlessly complementary, especially on the lovelorn "Ego." On "90's R&B," fans will enjoy hearing Sparks back in her element as she showcases he vocal range, especially at the end of the track. 

Just because there's a nod to the '90s throughout, it doesn't mean that this project is out of touch. It is, however, paying homage to an era where melodies were perfected, love songs topped the charts, and talented vocalists collaborated to create iconic records. Fans of such music will enjoy Sparks and Blake's latest.
