The Arkansas artist drops her latest alternative hip hop EP.

Rapper and singer Kari Faux has been in the music game for quite some time, but she has yet to have the shine that many believe she deserves. She's back with a five-track EP, Cry 4 Help, that only has one feature by Curren$y on her song "In the Air." Give it a once through and let us know what you think about Kari Faux's latest effort. The  Little Rock, Arkansas native has dropped a string of noteworthy mixtapes, beginning with her 2014 breakout Laugh Now, Die Later. That album grabbed the attention of Pitchfork, who even added it to their list of "Most Overlooked Mixtapes of 2014" list. That year she made the big move to Los Angeles to develop her music career, later dropping her debut studio effort, Lost En Los Angeles, but the artist ended up moving back down south.

"Like the radio out in L.A. played a lot of music I wasn’t familiar with," Faux told Forbes in a previous interview. "DJ Quik and Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg, Suga Free. I’ve heard all that before, but not as much as I heard in L.A. Now that I’m back home though, my music sounds a little bit more Southern, a little bit more like who I am."
